Holy Name Catholic School accepts both Catholic and non-Catholic students from surrounding areas.
Families who would like to register their student at Holy Name Catholic School should:
The principal will review all information pertaining to a potential student’s academic history, behavior, medical and learning needs before accepting a new student into the school. If a student’s needs cannot be met at Holy Name, the principal will refer the family to other educational programs in the Sheridan area. Once accepted, the school will need at least one day’s notice before students are admitted to classes.
Home School/Part-time Students Tuition determined on an individual basis. All fees and tuition for the previous school year must be paid before a student may attend classes at Holy Name Catholic School. Non-payment of registration results in a child’s enrollment being put on hold. If financial arrangements are not made, the school may use the means necessary to collect tuition amounts owed. Tuition assistance is available for families who qualify. Applications are available in the school office. All tuition assistance information is kept strictly confidential.
If a parent has the ability to pay the full cost tuition amount ($9000.00 per student), which is unsubsidized by the Church, we ask that you do so.
Registration for school is held each year in the spring. This procedure gives preference to all Catholic and current families.
Enrollment. Parents are required to provide copies of the birth and baptismal certificates for their child(ren) at the time of enrollment. Students entering kindergarten must be five years old by August 1.

Holy Name Catholic School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, nationality and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic or other school-administered programs.
