“Meet a new friend, or renew an old friendship.”
On most weekends after the Sunday 10am Mass from September through May, parishioners and guests are invited to the Parish Hall for coffee, tea, donuts and juice to continue in fellowship and build community within our parish.
Volunteers are needed to host the weekend hospitality. For a small amount of time and a little effort, one can enjoy the satisfaction of contributing to an important ministry. Volunteers participate by setting up, arranging the donuts on trays, brewing coffee, serving the donuts, and cleaning up.
The Funeral Luncheon Committee ministers to grieving families by preparing a luncheon for the family and guests after the funeral liturgy. At a time when the grieving families have so many things to take care of, volunteers are called to action on a short notice to bake and cook at home, or serve in the parish hall.
Many hands make light work. This could be an in-home ministry where you are called to bake or make a salad to be dropped off at the Parish Hall that will be served at the funeral luncheon.
Volunteers are needed for cooking, baking, food-prep, setting up, making drinks, serving food and cleaning up.
