Parish Leadership

Lay Directors (Trustees)
- Our lay directors, together with the Bishop and Pastor manage all corporate affairs, observing the requirements in the canon law of the Roman Catholic Church. Duties include:
  
  assisting in the governance of the (church) corporation;
  
  collaborating with the Parish Finance Council to approve fiscal policies including the annual budget and internal financial controls; review and approve quarterly and annual financial reports; approve extraordinary transactions;
  
  collaborating with the Parish Pastoral Council and Parish Finance Council to review and apporve construction and renovation projects.

- Parish Finance Council
  
  The purpose of the Parish Finance Council is to give assistance and counsel in the fiscal management of the Parish to the Pastor, and the Pastor is to seek the opinion and assistance of the Council so that the goods of the Parish are used for the evangelical purpose of the Church and the Parish. The Parish Finance Council recommends to the Pastor an annual budget, reviews financial reports at least every quarter, reviews the fiscal year-end report, provides advice to the Pastor on matters required by canon law, and performs other tasks required by canon law.

- Parish Pastoral Council
  
  The purpose of the Parish Pastoral Council is to give counsel to the Pastor concerning the needs of the people and the pastoral activity in the parish or parishes under his care. Under his authority, the Council investigates, discerns and proposes practical recommendations about those things which pertain to the pastoral activities in the parish in order to promote the life and actions of the People of God with the Gospel so that the evangelical mission of the Church reaches everyone.
